- Baked Buffalo Cauliflower
(Recipe from: Gimme Delicious)
Huddle up your healthy ingredients for this guilt-free game day snack! This next dish is perfect for anyone trying to indulge in a healthier option this Sunday. This recipe can even be adjusted as a vegan option! It can be hard to find vegan recipes to satisfy every guest at your party, but these yummy baked buffalo cauliflower won’t disappoint!
What you’ll need:
- 1 head of cauliflower
- ½ cup of milk (for vegan: use almond or soy milk)
- ½ cup of water
- ¾ cup all-purpose flower (can sub gluten-free rice flour)
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground pepper
- 1 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce
- 1 tbsp. butter (for vegan: use Earth Balance buttery spread)
Get in the zone with this amazing healthy option! After preheating your oven to 425-450 degrees F, line your baking sheet with parchment paper and grease well with oil. Cut the cauliflower head into bite-sized pieces and dip them into the batter made with milk, water, flower and spices. After coating, lay the cauliflower in a single layer onto the baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, making sure you flip them over halfway to get all sides crispy. While baking, prepare your buffalo wing sauce in a saucepan on low heat. Once the cauliflower is done with its first bake, take them out and place them into a mixing bowl with your wing sauce. Coat them evenly and return them to the oven for another 20-25 minutes. Serve with ranch or blue cheese and this cauliflower cuisine is complete!
